My big brother has forsaken the oath of the Single Man’s Climbing Club and has settled down with the love of his life. There was an extra challenge set before us with this wedding. The photographer backed out a week before their wedding day. So, Audrey stepped up to the plate and bailed them out. I think she did an outstanding job considering this was her first solo gig. If I had a free moment to would pick up a camera, but 75% was all her. Way To Go Aud!! I hope you like them, and congratulations Dave and Louisa.

Mom and dad thought it would be a great idea to take some pictures to remember this Fourth of July weekend. What a perfect weekend it was! Beautiful weather, the lake was full, and the crowds had yet to overpopulate the mountain...

At weddings she would set up the table and computer. Find a handful a great images, do a quick edit to them and put it to a slide show for all to watch and enjoy during the reception. For senior portraits she was my mobile light stand, posing guide, outfit coordinator and the equipment sherpa. For child portraits, she’s the clown. Inspiring the kids to smile or laugh.
However, she has taken the camera out of “auto” mode and has starting shooting in “manual.” And she is LOVING it! We asked our friend and old room mate if she would like to model for us. She was a bit timid and shy at first. As you’ll see in the images below.

Audrey took this shoot And this was one of mine.

This one is Audrey’s

The below shot was mine.

The first water shot is mine and using the cherry umbrella was Audrey’s idea along with the image below

Audrey took this one while i was the mobile light stand/light modifier.

A little taste of the whole day from before the wedding all the way to them leaving. Here also, are some of the details. Jon and Jenna chose to do most of their pictures before the wedding. Which gave us ample time for some great fun shots! The First Sight was shot at the venue then off to Victoria Gardens (with permission)to shot some images there. The other half was just around the corner in an empty lot. Family formals, the wedding and reception were all on location at the Etiwanda Gardens.
I hope you enjoy them.

As I view other photographer’s blogs, I find they are all the same when it comes to introducing a wedding. So, I shall do my best to avoid the cliche line about how “It’s an honor” or “I had the privilege” or “This was the best couple to work with”.
I have known Jenna for several years and my wife has known her even longer. We both wanted to be a part of her big day. Since I didn’t know Jon, I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to be a groomsmen. I’m too old and not-so-cute to be a ring bearer. I have no musical ability, therefore singing was out of the question. And I’m not an ordained Pastor, so I couldn’t marry the two of them. The next best thing would be to capture the entire day for them as their photographer. The images below are few of those moments.
Thank you Jon and Jenna for allowing us so much time for pictures.

What an honor to work with such an amazing couple.
